Proceeds from the two-day fundraiser, which includes a Friday night skate-a-thon and a Saturday hockey game between the Detroit Red Wings Alumni Association and Oakland Jr. Grizzlies and the Troy Youth Hockey Association, will benefit the 23rd Annual Dick Purtan Radiothon. The community hopes to raise more than $25,000 to be donated to The Salvation Army&#8217;s Bed & Bread Program. From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., customers will also receive a free slice of pie or a hot bowl of soup to-go with a donation of $10 or more. Fans attending the Thanksgiving Day game against the Green Bay Packers on Thursday, Nov. 26 can donate a clean, new or gently used coat or blanket.
