Recent Events:

Jenny Short (center), Community Relations Leader at Wisconsin Public Service recently presented a supply of weatherization kits to Megan Hartly (left), Ministry Intern and Sonia Alonzo (right), Case Worker at The Salvation Army in Marinette. The kits are designed to help qualifying families and individuals increase the energy efficiency of their homes. Each kit contains materials that are simple to install: a door draft guard, window insulation kits, two compact florescent light bulbs, rope caulk, V-seal weather stripping, outlet & switch gaskets as well as tips to save energy and stay warm this winter. Kit distribution will take place while supplies last, during The Salvation Army's Christmas sign ups on November 7, 18 and 21. For more information about how your family can receive food and gift assistance this Christmas, or if you would like to help bring joy to those in need in Marinette and Menominee Counties, please contact The Salvation Army at (715) 735-7448.
