Volunteer Appreciation Dinner
Thursday, April 19th, The Salvation Army held their annual Volunteer Apprecation Dinner to recognize clubs and organizations in our community who rang bells during the 2011 Red Kettle Campaign as well as individuals who gave large amounts of their time over the past year. The Salvation Army of Marinette is very blessed by the number of people willing to donate their time and talents to further our work and mission.
We awarded our first annual Volunteer of the Year Award to Dave Anderson, a realtor for Best Realty. Dave it the ground running when he joined the Advisory Board for The Salvation Army in January of 2011. He has been responsible for several successful fundraising events and volunteered his time for various Salvation Army events. In August of 2011 he joined our team of Youth Leaders as the Adventure Corps Ranger Leader, teaching young men life lessons and skills to contribute to society. Dave's hard work and dedication has shown in every thing that he sets his mind to. We apprecaite his efforts and feel blessed to have him on our Advisory Board.
