Welcome to The Salvation Army -Oshkosh. We are located in the heart of the downtown area. The Salvation Army has been active in this community for over 100 years. Throughout the year, there are many programs and various volunteer opportunities available. The Salvation Army welcomes all into our facility and encourages the community involvement and awareness. The Misson Statement of the Salvation Army:
The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human need in His name without discrimination.
The Captains of the Oshkosh Corps are Captains Johnny and Yoley Harsh. They arrived in Oshkosh in June of 2005 from a previous appointment in Kansas. The Captains have been a true blessing, and they are doing fantastic things for this facility. Both Captains oversee the daily proceedings of the building and are on-site to answer questions and concerns, to mentor those in need, and to be of assistance to all staff.
