Brush Up Sioux Falls
Paint a Thon 2014
Volunteer Teams are needed to paint homes of needy Senior Citizens and disabled persons in Sioux Falls this summer. This is a great ‘hands on', ‘short term', ‘team building' project for businesses and employees to get involved. This effort really makes a difference in the lives of individuals served, including the workers.
Call 605-338-6649 ext. 317 for more information on how your volunteer team can help improve the life of one of your neighbors. Contact Marcie today!
You can also download the Team Registration form. You'll find the form on the Paint A Thon 2014 page under the Ways To Give tab on the top of this page.

Bell Ringer Appreciation Luau Brunch
On Saturday, February 22nd we held a Luau Brunch to honor our paid bell ringing staff. They really have the hardest job during our Red Kettle Fundraising Campaign. Standing outside in the harsh winter weather is not easy. We're so thankful for the support in reaching our fundraising goal.
We also recognized our wonderful counting volunteers. They come in each day of our campaign and count all of the donations. With our their help it would not be possible for our staff to keep up with the day to day counting that must take place.
In September we will be holding a Volunteer Recognition Dinner for all of our awesome volunteers.
Salvation Army Thrift Store Closing on Saturday, February 15th.

This was not an easy decision, but after prayerful consideration and with The Salvation Army's commitment to using the donations that have been entrusted to us, we must close the store so that we can continue "Doing The Most Good" for the Sioux Falls community.
All items at the store are being sold at 50% off.
