The Bachelor of Science Degree in Practical Ministries
The Degree Completion Track is coordinated by the Secretary of the Officer Resource and Development Department (including the SACEP Program).
"The Practical Ministries major is a program designed specifically for Officers of The Salvation Army who already have an associate degree or a minimum of 64 semester hours of college credit. The program was developed in collaboration with the Officer Resource and Development Department of The Salvation Army Central Territory and continues as a joint effort of both The Salvation Army and Olivet Nazarene University. The Territorial Secretary, Officer Resource and Development Department of The Salvation Army Central Territory, serves through Olivet as coordinator of the Practical Ministries Degree. The major goal of the program is the preparation of students at the bachelor's degree level for ministry that confronts society as a whole while focusing on religious, social and cultural issues, especially as they relate to The Salvation Army."
