This week the Salvation Army will be visiting many area nursing homes and we
could use your help.
On Tuesday, our character building programs and Home League will have the
opportunity to show God's love in a practical way to several area nursing home
residents. Meet in the corps gym at 6:00 pm if you're available to assist. The
evening will conclude with cookies and hot cocoa at the corps.
On Sunday, members of the congregation will visit other nursing home
residents following our morning worship service. If you can go, plan on meeting
for lunch in the corps gym at 12:30 pm followed by the visits at 2:00 pm.
Many hands helping will go a long way toward bringing a little bit of
Christmas joy and the meaning of the season to those in our community who are
confined to these homes.
