Vikings d-line, Packers receivers battle Oct. 30 from 2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
ROSEVILLE, Minn. - Defensive linemen from the Minnesota Vikings will take on wide receivers from the Green Bay Packers on Friday, Oct. 30 in a friendly battle to see who can raise the most money for The Salvation Army's "Red Kettle Challenge."
The Vikings players, defensive line coach Karl Dunbar and team cheerleaders will sign autographs and bell ring at Mall of America Rotunda from 2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Packers receivers will bell ring simultaneously in the Lambeau Field Atrium. Whichever team raises the most money wins.
Vikings fans are encouraged to help beat the Packers by donating money in person or online. For those unable to come to Mall of America, donations are being accepted at www.thesalarmy.org through the Vikings' online red kettle.
"Skol Vikings, let's win this Kettle Challenge!" said Major Darryl Leedom, Commander of the Twin Cities Salvation Army.
