The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.
Since 1948 the Marines have made Christmas brighter for young boys and girls.
Again this year, we are proud to partner with The Valley Home Builders Association which is the Fox Valley's official Local Coordinating Office for the toy collection at more than 160 businesses in the Fox Valley. Here in the Fox Cities the toy collection will run from Nov. 9 to Dec. 18 at which time the final sorting of the toys can be completed.
The toys collected are distributed to pre-registered income qualified clients during The Salvation Army - Fox Cities annual Christmas assistance program which takes place Dec. 21, 22 and 23 at 647 S. Green Bay Rd., Neenah in the former Pick ‘N Save store near ShopKo.
