Your Red Kettle donations of $22,122 added to the match of $7,500 equaled $29,622
Good News as Goodwill Red Kettle Match provided over
$29,600 to the Fox Cities Christmas Campaign
Despite the after effects of
the area’s first major snow storm
– donors and bell ringers were out in force to make the Goodwill Industries of
North Central Wisconsin (NCW) inaugural
Red Kettle Match Day for The Salvation Army of the Fox Cities (Friday, Dec.
21) a big success generating over
$29,600 for the annual campaign.
Gifts from the public totaled $22,122 and Goodwill matched
up to $7,500 of donations received that day from all the Red Kettle locations in the Fox Cities,
including Goodwill’s three area stores – the Darboy Goodwill at N189 Stoney
Brook Road, the Grand Chute Goodwill at 4759 Michaels Drive, and the Menasha
Goodwill at 1800 Appleton Road.
Goodwill team members and program participants also rang the Salvation
Army bells at area Goodwill stores that day. Over two thirds out of a total of
372 volunteer positions had a kettle ringer on the Goodwill match day. (To learn more about Goodwill go towww.goodwillncw.com)
"Goodwill is happy to support the Salvation Army as
they do "Good" in our community.
Collaboration is the key to the future for area not-for-profits, said
Bob Pederson, President/CEO of Goodwill NCW.
“Collectively we will make the Fox Cities a wonderful place to live and
raise a family."
Thanks to you and
