2013 - Transition - Pastor Randy & Melinda

The Salvation Army – Fox Cities welcomed its new officers and pastors, Captains’ Randy and Melinda Tooley. The couple will work as partners, in The Salvation Army tradition of sharing rank and duties.
The Tooley’s previously served in Alton, IL for six years with the Midland Division of the Salvation Army. They moved to the Appleton area in July 2012.
The couple began their service with Salvation Army in 2000. Prior to that Randy Tooley was a youth pastor and Melinda Tooley worked in financial services. They entered the College for Officer Training in 2004 and became ordained ministers in 2006.
Captain Randy Tooley said they are excited to serve all levels of need in the Fox Cities. He loves youth ministry and mentoring teens to help them succeed in life. Randy is a veteran of the U.S. Army and the Air National Guard.
"There are some communities where people have never had to ask for help before and it's difficult for them to come in to any place to ask for help, but especially difficult to come into the Salvation Army for the first time in their lives and say 'I need help,'" said Captain Tooley. “I just want it known that we are here for those in need.”
Feel free to reach out to Captain Randy for coffee and fellowship as he gets to learn more about the Fox Cities and also as he works to grow his ministry at: 920-955-1223.
The Tooley’s have two adult children and two grandchildren. The couple enjoys spending time with family along with hiking and camping.
