Under the "Your Help" tab is a list of the types of non-perishable food drive items that we are constantly seeking and in need of. Or click here Food Pantry Wish List.doc to download a copy.
We also have a good supply of Salvation Army boxes (18" x 12" x 10") that many groups find helpful for collecting and sorting the food. As they are a standard size that makes stacking and lifting so much easier. Click here FOOD DRIVE LABELS.doc to download labels for use when sorting food items.
You can call us at 734-3324 to let the receptionist know how many food boxes you may need, and when you can pick them up (or you may schedule a box delivery with the receptionist). Our office hours are 8 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday. The Salvation Army is located just north of the Morgan building at 130 East North St., Appleton. The Food Pantry Manager, is available also at 955-1245 from 8 AM to Noon, Monday - Friday to arrange for boxes or food pick-ups.
Additionally, call our receptionist at 734-3324 to schedule a date and time so that our driver can pick up the full boxes when your food drive is completed.
For additional questions on our Food Pantry Program, please contact the Social Services Director at 955-1222 or the Food Pantry Manager at 955-1245.
Many schools have "competitions" amongst the grades as to who can collect the most non-perishable food items, etc. We'd be happy to assist with any recognition activities.
Thanks again for thinking of The Salvation Army and all of the people that we help!
