Adult Rehabilitation Centers and Family Stores in Illinois

In the state of Illinois there are five Salvation Army modern centers where men with drug and alcohol addictions can find a rehabilitation program designed to meet their special needs.

The greater Chicagoland area is home to three Adult Rehabilitation Centers (ARC).

Two of the centers are located within the Windy City itself. Both of them are easy to reach by auto or public transportation.

The Chicago Central ARC - 506 North Des Plaines Avenue - is a large facility situated just north of the Chicago Loop near the busy intersection of Grand Avenue and Halsted Street. The rooftop water tower displaying the recognized red shield of The Salvation Army is a familiar Chicago landmark that can be sighted from all directions.

The Chicago Northside ARC - 2258 North Clybourn Avenue - is a welcome oasis for adult men from urban and suburban neighborhoods. The center is near to exits from Interstate 90-94 and is served by city bus and commuter trains.

Waukegan IL is directly north of Chicago and there on the shore of Lake Michigan sits the Waukegan ARC at 431 South Genesee Street.

Western Illinois is served by the ARC in Rockford IL and mid-central Illinois has the Springfield IL ARC to meet the needs of its residents.
