Social and Family Services
The Salvation Army provides the following types of assistance, providing you meet the criteria-
Rent-on emergency basis only
Clothing
Personal Care Items
Shelter-if all shelters are full
Utilities-Gas and Electric
Emergency Food Assistance is offered once every 30 days In addition,
Co-op Pantry Pacs are available. $22 buys $50 worth of food
Office Hours are Monday through Friday 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Last client taken at 3:30 pm.

The Emergency Services office is located on the lower level of The Salvation Army building located at 400 Capital Avenue NE. Please access the office from the lower level parking lot.
Emergency Services Programs are funded in party by the Community Development Block Grant through the city of Battle Creek, HUD and the United Way of Greater Battle Creek.
