The Salvation Army offers a Bible Camp which is available to all who live within the Central Territory of the Salvation Army (the Midwestern states). This Central Bible and Leadership Institute (CBLI) lasts eight days during the summer months and offers instruction for families or individuals of all ages.
Families are housed together and offered a wide range of activities. Parents go to sessions during the day, while their children attend age-appropriate activities. CBLI Kids (birth-2), Junior CBLI (6-10) and Tweens (11-13). Singles are also free to attend, as well as those married without children . Teens 14-18 meet together in united session for worship and intense Bible instruction then break into small groups to discuss what they've learned and how to apply it to their every day lives. They are housed in the village dorm cabins.
The Young Adult (YA) Track (19-29) offers college students and young adults an opportunity to worship together and discuss Biblical teachings and topics significant to them. Overall, CBLI is a relaxing eight days where people of all ages learn more about serving God while having the amazing opportunity of interacting with so many other Christians.
