Emergency Social Services is the Salvation Army program that assists families and individuals with basic needs such as food and clothing.
Emergency Social Services also includes The Fall Coat Drive, Thanksgiving assistance for working families, Christmas Assistance, and assistance to schools with needed supplies.
All clients go through an initial interview to determine their needs.

Clothing Vouchers to our Family Thrift Stores
Are Given Tuesday Only from 9 AM to 11 AM
Clients must provide the following:
Current picture ID for all people over the age of 17
Social Security Cards for all household members
Proof of income for all family members for the last 30 days
Proof of Columbia Area address
Food Assistance -
Food assistance may be provided by our onsite food pantry once a month.
Clothing Voucher -
A voucher to receive clothing at one of our thrift stores may be provided once every 6 months.
Other Emergency Services -
Other emergency servces may be provided based on client needs determined by a client interview and available resources.
