The Salvation Army is entrenched within over 120 countries Worldwide! Our founders in London, England in 1865 were William and Catherine Booth - Methodist Humanitarians, who developed their ministries for the downtrodden, weak, and homeless in the very poor, desolate East End of London. Our current Mission Statement Worldwide Is:

The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.
