THE SALVATION ARMY RED KETTLE CAMPAIGN UPDATE
There's still time to help!
Eau Claire, WI (January 5, 2011) -- The Salvation Army Christmas Red Kettle
Christmas Campaign for 2010 has completed the bellringing but is still in need
of substantial donations to reach goal. This effort puts a priority on
Christmas assistance but is important in meeting needs throughout the year. The
toyshop and food baskets for Christmas helped over 600 families and 1300
children. HELP is needed because they are short of
their goal by $59,000. Funds from this campaign assist in providing
services not only at Christmas but throughout the year. Captain R.C. Duskin
continues to believe in the generosity and caring of the Chippewa Valley and is
praying that people will respond through mail and drop off donations to yet
help them reach goal and continue providing the valuable basic needs for people
that are struggling to make ends meet.
THANK YOU to all that have been a part of getting us to
this place financially and that
has helped us serve so many.
