Currently, more than 500,000 children (K5- sixth grade) participate in Upward sports leagues. For over 14 years, Upward has been conducting exciting children's sport leagues and camps in the US and around the world.

The early registration cost per child for basketball is $55; after November 6, the cost is $65. The early registration cost per child for cheerleading is $50; after November 6, the cost is $60.
Deadline for registration is November 16.
Basketball shorts are optional at a cost of $12. Cheerleading mock turtlenecks are optional at a cost of $12.
Please make checks payable to The Salvation Army.
Everyone must attend one basketball evaluation or cheerleading orientation.
They will take place at The Salvation Army FHC, 1235 E. Fulton in Grand Rapids as follows:
K-4 and K-5 Boys/Girls
Monday, November 16, between 5:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
1st and 2nd Grade Boys/Girls
Monday, November 16, between 6:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
3rd and 4th Grade Boys/Girls
Wednesday, November 18, between 5:00 p.m. and 6:15 p.m.
5th and 6th Grade Boys/Girls
Wednesday, November 18, bewteen 6:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
Practices Begin - Monday, December 7, 2009
First Game - Saturday, January 9, 2010
Awards Celebration - Sunday, March 7, 2010
