The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center is a residential recovery program, housing 121 men caught in the vice of addictions. This program is free of charge to all who enter.
While in the six month program, beneficiaries must perform 40 hours of work therapy which teaches them job skills, interpersonal relationships, and a disciplined lifestyle. The men are also required to attend a variety of classes/sessions each evening and on weekends.
Services include: work therapy sessions, addiction recovery groups, anger management, relapse prevention, spiritual recovery, family classes, GED, one on one counseling, group counseling, chemical dependency, parenting classes, like skills, aftercare and recreation activities. Progress is evaluated by staff at weekly case management sessions.
