That's the Way Love Goes by Chris Wynn
Living in the twilight causes one to think about what's really important. Working at a career isn't what it used to be. Don't misunderstand me, I love my profession. But as I grow older my job doesn't define me like it once did. I define my life by the relationships I hold dear.
There are the special people I work with five days a week. When they're happy, I'm happy. When they hurt, I hurt. Working with them means more than the actual work itself. They have become an extended family to me. I am the division's resident pacifist, but I think I'd fight for my work friends and proudly wear the title, "hypocrite." That's the way love goes.
