"To provide safe temporary shelter to homeless individuals and families without discrimination, while giving guidance to promote independence."
Grace Place, Faith House and House of Blessings serve residents in St. Croix and surrounding counties. The Pierce/St. Croix Housing Resource Network, United Way of St. Croix County, and The Salvation Army founded and support Grace Place.
The former convent at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Somerset, Wisconsin, was renovated to provide accomodations for up to 25 people, and became Grace Place, St. Croix County's first transitional housing shelter.
Faith House is a three-bedroom home located in New Richmond, Wisconsin, serving one family at a time.
House of Blessings is
During their 30 day stay at the three shelters, residents are provided with food, education, activities, counseling, and assistance in finding jobs and permanent housing. By providing a place to live and access to essential community resources, our programs empower residents to become self-sufficient.
