Today, through over 9,600 service centers, The Army's spiritual and social services affect the lives of millions of persons in more than one hundred nations around the world. In the United States, The Salvation Army serves almost 6 million people during the holiday season alone.

The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian church.
Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.
Grand Forks' Vision Statement:
To honor Jesus Christ and advance the kingdom through service to the greater Grand Forks community by integrating emergency social services, youth and adult programs with a variety of educational and worship opportunities.
