The Salvation Army

In Hancock, MI

Serves Houghton

Keweenaw

and Ontonagon

Counties.

As a Christian church, our purpose is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human need in His name without discrimination.  William Booth founded the organization in 1865 and developed a program based on his feelings that physical, emotional, social and spiritual restoration goes hand-in-hand.

As legitimate needs are identified we are committed to serving those in need.  When we cannot help, referrals will be made to other agencies in the area.
