SOCIAL SERVICES:
Food Pantry - We provide emergency food for people in need. The Food Pantry is open Monday Thru Thursday, 9:00 to 3:00 and Friday from 9:00 to 2:00. The Pantry is closed from 12:30 to 1:00 daily for lunch. ID and proof of income are required.
Emergency Shelter - We provide temporary shelter for homeless adults and families.
Utility Assistance - We provide financial assistance for those facing electric or gas utility disconnections. This service is provided only as private or government funds are available.
Thrift Store - The Thrift Store provides low-cost clothing, furniture, house wares and other items. The store serves as a source of funding for many Salvation Army programs.
Clothing & Furniture - This service is available to individuals and families in need and those displaced by fire or domestic abuse.
Counseling - Spiritual counseling is available. Premarital counseling is required for those wishing to be married at The Salvation Army.
Christmas Assistance - During the holiday season food baskets are distributed to needy families and new toys are provided for their children.
WORSHIP SERVICES:
Sunday Services - The Salvation Army is a member of the universal Christian church. Call (906) 482-3420 for a schedule of worship services.
Women's Ministries - Promotion of home ideals through Christian fellowship is a part of this program. They emphasize worship, education, service and fellowship.
League of Mercy - LOM volunteers visit area nursing homes and hospitals, providing comfort to those separated from family and friends.
Correctional Services - Salvation Army officers and soldiers conduct quarterly worship services at the Baraga Federal Prison. In addition, they provide bible correspondence courses and pen pal programs.
YOUTH SERVICES:
The Salvation Army provides programs that help children develop spiritually, socially and emotionally.
Youth Art Class, Youth Basketball, SYGO (Kid's Choir), Instrumental Instruction, Character Building Programs (Sunbeams, Girl Guards & Adventure Corps), Summer Camping, Sonday's Cool and Sunday School.

DISASTER SERVICES:
The Salvation Army in Copper Country is part of the Army's National Disaster Response Team. When fire or natural disasters occur, volunteers will be called upon to provide meals and emotional support locally and across the nation.
