The Salvation Army Chicago Harbor Light Center is dedicated to assisting those who are tortured by addiction to find hope, refuge and rehabilitation. The Executive Director is Captain Merrill Powers and the Director is Captain Nancy Powers. There is a staff of over 70 who provide outreach, housing, addiction treatment and job training to individuals who have few options for receiving this type of help. Homeless Services, Transitional Jobs Program and Outpatient Substance Abuse Services serve men and women. All other programs are designated for men only.
