Located on the Near West Side, The Salvation Army Harbor Light is one of the largest residential recovery programs in Chicago. We provide comprehensive recovery services and a unique treatment series that addresses the physical, spiritual, and psychological needs of people seeking to overcome the illnesses of alcohol and substance abuse.
A sequence of treatment programs enables residents to achieve personal goals to overcome their illness, re-establish their lives, and return to the community as productive citizens.
In addition to our recovery program, Harbor Light offers an array of services to the broader community through our Church, Transitional Jobs Program, and Homeless Outreach Programs.
