Why We Do What We Do
We offer many different programs, but the reason we offer them remains the same, because we love people right where they are and we try to help wherever we can. Whether that means offering a place to learn, to hang out, to work out or just a friendly face after a long day. Our goal with all programs is to provide a safe and encouraging environment for developing physically, socially, and spiritually.
As Community Center Director I try to make a connection with each person who walks through the doors. I invite everyone I meet and encourage people to bring their friends because I believe that this building is doing God's work and everyone can benefit from being loved on a regular basis.
The Janesville Corps & Community Center offers a variety of programs and activities for people of all ages and from all walks of life. Whether it's a course in resume building or interviewing, basketball in the gym, music, Bible study, or a place to come after school; every program offered is offered out of our love for others. We show love to others because God loved us first and we want to share his amazing love with everyone we come in contact with.
