The Family Life Center is a transitional housing program for homeless families. The mission of our program is to provide a clean, comfortable, and safe place for homeless families to reside, while helping them obtain the skills and services they need to acquire and maintain permanent housing in the community. This is accomplished by providing lodging, meals, transportation, life skills training, and case management services.
Families reside in the 32 bed facility which is state of the art in its design. Each family has their own private room and bath. Staff members are on duty 24 hours a day to provide security and assist with problems that might arise. We also maintain contact with each family for a year after they exit our shelter to provide encouragement and assist with linking the family to community resources.
