Our newest S.T.A.R. Volunteer of the month: Kathy Martin

(Kathy with Captain Cappy Moore)
An interview between Kathy (KM) and The Salvation Army (SA):
SA: Why did you choose to volunteer with The Salvation Army?
KM: Mainly because The Salvation Army welcomed both me and my teenaged granddaughters.
SA: What volunteer position(s) do you currently hold at The Salvation Army?
KM: Client Guide and East Door Attendant
SA: How long have you volunteered for The Salvation Army?
KM: Two years
SA: What have you learned/gained by volunteering at The Salvation Army?
KM: It feels great to give back to the community - help those in need and meet interesting people. Very rewarding!
SA: What has been your most rewarding experience volunteering for The Salvation Army?
KM: Really, watching my granddaughters learn to give back at a much earlier age than I did. We all enjoy helping out. Thanks to The Salvation Army for giving us that chance.
