New officers have arrived!
2 July 2009
We're pleased to announce that Captains James and Angie Pennington have arrived at the Corps. They came from Ottumwa, IA Corps where for the last four years they served as commanding officers. During that time, they created a new $1 million CCC and Worship Center and started a Senior Center/Meals on Wheels program. Capt. James is from northern Illinois originally, and was commissioned at the 1995 Messengers of Hope session. Capt. Angie and Capt. James met at The Salvation Army's Training School in Chicago, and they've been married for 13 years this month.
Captains Angie and James bring a lot of experience to the Lincoln Corps, and we are happy to have them!
