The Salvation Army "Let the Music Begin!" Programs at Higgins Community Academy featured on CBS 2 News Chicago.

As WBBM-CBS Channel 2 reports, The Salvation Army's Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center in Chicago's West Pullman neighborhood won't be open until 2011 but programs for kids & adults have already begun.

The Metro Music Department has been providing music lessons in brass, keyboard and percussion at Higgins Community Academy since Spring 2007.

 As part of the Jubilee! celebration to take place from March 12-14, 2010, Salvationist Singers from around the Metropolitan area are invited to join together to lift their voices in praise as part of a United Songster Brigade.

The first massed rehearsal will be at Mayfair Community Church of the Salvation Army
on Sunday November 1st, 2009 at 4:00 PM (before the start of the United Meeting)
