Kaela Rampton began her mission with The Salvation Army in 2008 when she accepted the position of Regional Music and Gospel Arts Director of the Metropolitan Division. She teaches piano, brass, woodwinds, percussion and general music in Salvation Army corps music programs and Chicago Public Schools throughout the Chicagoland area. She also serves as a leader working with The Salvation Army's Metropolitan Youth Band and Chorus.
Kaela graduated from Abilene Christian University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Music Degree and All-Level Music Teacher Certification. She currently performs with the Chicago Chamber Choir and Chicago Chorale choral organizations. She has been performing in choral ensembles for over eighteen years. Her love of music has afforded her the opportunity to perform with renowned musicians such as Moses Hogan, Erich Kunzel, and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra; and perform in venues such as The Dallas Symphony Center, Orchestra Hall in Chicago, and Carnegie Hall in New York City.
