Aaron Samra started working for the Salvation Army in the Fall of 2012 with the purpose of teaching music in Chicago Public Schools, as well as working with the Steel Pans at the Red Shield Center in Englewood.
Aaron has a Bachelor's of Science from Ball State University with a Kindergarten through twelfth grade music teachers license. He also has a Master's of Arts degree from Saint Joseph's College with an emphasis in Liturgical Music. Aaron comes to us from Indiana where he had over ten years teachers experience in public and private schools, was the music director for a parish for four years and is one of the founding members of an after-school program. He comes to Chicago with his wife who is here getting her Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
