This Year's Theme:
As SHARE is a program of The Salvation Army, we naturally have Christ at the center. This year we are kicking off SHARE with a visit from Seeds Family Worship, a team that has dedicated their efforts to developing kid and family friendly worship. They will be putting on a concert for our children on Friday, the 28th of June during our All Sites Day to help kick off a great summer!
With this in mind, this summer's theme is "Lift It Up!", a theme of worship. Why do we worship God? What are the qualities of God that we worship him for? We will be highlighting one topic each week, week one being " What is worship", week two being "God is Love", and so on. Each day's Bible message will expand upon that topic, culminating in a summer lifestyle of worship at camp and brought together and presented for you, the parents, at our SHARE show, week 7 of camp.
We also aim to make the time at SHARE fun and educational! So, this summer we are embarking on field trips with a purpose, such as to the Chippewa Nature Center and the Saginaw Children's Museum. Not only are these trips designed to be fun, but they will bring home more than what can fit in their backpack: an experience and some cool new knowledge!
