Saturday July 28th
Back-to-School Distribution Set-Up
Volunteers are needed during the following shifts to help sort children's clothing, school supplies and prepare The Salvation Army's thrift store for its 2012 Back-to-School assistance program. (Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times during this volunteer activity)
VOLUNTEER SHIFTS
Shift 1: 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Shift 2: 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Shift 3: 4 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Sunday July 29th
Back-to-School Distribution Set Up
Volunteers are needed during the following shifts to help pack backpacks, sort children's clothing and school supplies as well as prepare The Salvation Army's thrift store for its 2012 Back-to-School assistance program. (Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times during this volunteer activity)
VOLUNTEER SHIFTS
Shift 1: 2 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Shift 2: 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Monday July 30th
Back-to-School Assistance Program Distribution
Numerous volunteers are needed during the following shifts to acts as ‘shopping buddies'* to the children & families receiving back-to-school assistance from The Salvation Army. Additional volunteers are also needed to help sort children's clothing and provide general assistance to The Salvation Army staff members as needed. At least 75 volunteers will be needed for Shift 1 & Shift 2. The end of Shift 3 will primarily consist of cleaning-up and rearranging the thrift store. (*note: shopping buddies must be at least 18 years old)
VOLUNTEER SHIFTS
Shift 1: 8 a.m - Noon
Shift 2: Noon - 4 p.m.
Shift 3: 4 p.m - 8 p.m.
