GERANIUM SALE FUNDRAISER
HELPS SUPPORT LOCAL YOUTH
Proceeds will benefit Salvation Army programs & services for local youth!
Help support local youth by purchasing beautiful geraniums during the 21st Annual Spring Geranium Sale, sponsored by The Salvation Army's Women's Auxiliary! Geranium sale orders are being taken now through May 8th and will be available for pick-up at The Salvation Army on May 9th.
Proceeds will benefit The Salvation Army's After-School & Summer Day Camp programs, and help provide Easter clothing for children living in The Salvation Army's Family Enrichment Center. The Family Enrichment Center is a transitional housing program for homeless families that provides them with practical support and guidance as they work to regain self-sufficiency.
"This is a great opportunity to not only beautify your home with lovely flowers, but also to beautify the lives of those in need through your financial gift," Springfield Corps Officer, Major Claire Grainger, said.
Geraniums will be grown by Steinert's Greenhouse & Gardens and each 5 ½ inch diameter potted plant is only $5; available colors include red, violet, white and salmon.
Group orders of 25 or more from the same location can be delivered. Order forms can be downloaded from the bottom of this page or picked up at The Salvation Army's main office - 1707 W. Chestnut Expressway. Please note that orders can only be accepted along with payment.
