"We are continuing our tradition of caring by supporting The Salvation Army. Their good work throughout the year makes a difference every day in the greater Springfield/Branson area," says franchise owner, Brian and Linda Addotta, Culver's of Springfield.
Canned food & toy donations can be dropped off during business hours at all Springfield & Branson locations: 2520 N. Glenstone Ave.; 1815 E. Primrose; 1309 Hwy 248 in Branson.
"We're proud to call Springfield/Branson home," says Addotta. "Doing our part to help make a difference just feels right."
This holiday donation drive marks the second time that local Culver's restaurants have partnered with The Salvation Army to those in need.
"We are incredibly grateful for Culver's continued support," Major Norman Grainger, Ozark Area Coordinator said. "Culver's ongoing efforts, which range from collecting donations to volunteering, have allowed The Salvation Army to help many more local individuals & families throughout the year."
Each year during the Tree of Lights Christmas Campaign, The Salvation Army seeks critically needed funds and resources for local programs and services that will help thousands of local Ozarks' residents all year long.
The Salvation Army Ozark Area Coordination helps residents in Greene, Christian, Taney & Stone counties. Last year, The Salvation Army provided more than 58,000 services to more than 21,000 Ozarks residents. Available assistance includes an emergency food pantry, housing & shelter programs, a senior citizen center and many community outreach events.
