PURPOSE AND PHILOSOPHY
The purpose of the Salvation Army of Isabella County is to approach human needs from a holistic perspective, with a focus on strengthening families. We do this by providing Utility, Food, Prescription Drug, Rental/Mortgage, Emergency Lodging, Clothing and Furniture vouchers, Thanksgiving and Christmas assistance.
We strive to help individuals and families assume responsibility for their health and well-being as they move to greater independence and self sufficiency. A diversity of programs assists persons in need with their material, familial, social, vocational, spiritual and character development goals. The Salvation Army meets human need at the point of need without discrimination.
Our staff is dedicated to the above statement in how we serve individual needs. They show passionate love towards those that come to seek hope from someone in time of need.
Our Corps Officers/Pastors are dedicated to make sure that unmet needs are met everyday through the love of Christ. It is there passion to serve God first and then Others.
