THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
On May 3rd, 2012, The Salvation Army of Northeast Nebraska held their Annual Luncheon at the Time Square Event Center. Clete Blakeman was the Keynote Speaker. We recognized Jim Bradford, Jr. as Citizen of the Year, Carol Frisch as Volunteer of the Year, and the Norfolk Optimist Club as the Volunteer Bellringing Group of 2011.
Thank you for your support and Being A Shield for our youth as we get closer to being able to purchase a 12+ passenger vehicle for our programs.
THANK YOU NORTHEAST NEBRASKA FOR YOUR GENEROSITY!
The Salvation Army of Northeast Nebraska had a record year for our Annual Christmas Campaign. Our goal of $135,000 was passed thanks to the generosity of the community. We were able to raise $153,274!
With these funds we will be able to "do the most good to those with the most need." - Catherine Booth
Thanks are also due to the many volunteers and in-kind donors of goods that we were able to help 620 children receive toys, provide 226 meals for the holidays, and provide food to 1,763 individuals.
"Without the outpouring of generosity from the community this would not be possible," stated Captain R.C. Duskin, "as the majority of our local programs rely directly on our community's support." Thank you for supporting the work that we do!
