9/11 Memorial Service & Block Party

<p>The following is from our corps officer, Captain Johanna Pook:</p>
<p><br />Just a reminder that our corps will have a wonderful opportunity for 
evangelism and outreach during our annual BLOCK Party . Directly following 
morning worship, our corps' congregation will be going  to Heritage Park 
(Brandywine) for a special memorial service to remember those who lost their 
lives during the terrorist attacks on 9/11.  We will also be reaching out to 
our neighbors with information on our corps programs, inviting them to join our 
corps family and sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ.</p>
<p>We encourage the entire congregation to participate in this important 
ministry event.</p>
<p>1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. Picnic Lunch and Activities <br />2:00 p.m. Memorial 
Service</p>
<p>Come for food, fun and to meet new friends! Wear your SA T-shirt during the 
picnic and lunch activities and bring your lawn chairs.</p>
<p>A special planning/training evening for the whole family will be held at the 
corps on Wednesday, September 7 at 6:00 p.m.</p>
<p>For those who cannot be with us that day please be in prayer over this
