A November to Remember

A November to RememberJoin us during the month of November as we remember that God is the creator who gives us life in His time, and desires our worship at all times.

November 1 - There is a Season (Speaker:  Jamison Taube)

Ecclesiastes 3:1-14 -The seasons of God are an interesting concept.  How does God measure time?  Why do things take so long?  When does God really act? Can we really believe that "There is a time for everything"?  Can we accept that "God has made everything beautiful in its time"?   Does "Everything God does...endure forever"?  Maybe there really is a season for everything and we just have to have faith to believe the season will come in God's time.

November 8 - Let My Words Be Few

Ecclesiastes 5:1-7 (focus vs 2) - we should learn to listen when we enter God's presence.  Let our words be few and stand in awe of God.

November 15 - Stand up and Shout it!

Psalm 100 - Shout for joy.  Worship with gladness.  Joyful songs.  God made us.  We are His.  Kind of makes you want to shout as you enter his gates with thanksgiving.

November 22 - Sit down and whisper!

Psalm 95 - Singing for joy and shouting aloud is contrasted with bowing and kneeling before the Lord.  Can you celebrate thanksgiving with a whisper of worship?
