What is The Salvation Army? A Thrift Store? A Disaster Relief agency? Red Kettles? Homeless shelters? A church? The Salvation Army is all these things and more. We are here to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to meet needs without discrimination. These core values were formed back in 1865, when The Salvation Army was founded by William Booth in England.
Although there are many Salvation Army facilities out there, there are a wide range of programs available, and each facility strives to provide the services that are best fit for the community it is situated in. At The Salvation Army of Plymouth, we are a church (Corps) and a community center. We have a worship service on Sundays at 11 am, and we have several programs for fellowship such as Bible Study, Women's Ministries and Men's Fellowship. Our office has a social services program (Family & Community Ministries department) where we can help meet the needs of those who are struggling financially in our community. Our Community Center offers various programs throughout the year and these programs are open to all. Please browse our website to see all we have to offer at The Salvation Army of Plymouth
