Volunteering is the practice of people working on behalf of others without being motivated by financial or material gain. Volunteering is generally considered an altruistic activity, intended to promote good or improve human quality of life. The mission of the Salvation Army is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.
In order to meet the needs of the "many" we need the "few" to come alongside us and to help. There are many opportunites to get involved.
