Regeneration 2010
What is Re:Generation 2010? Re:Generation is the only Salvation Army conference that is specifically made for young adults in the Central Territory. It is an experience made just for you. You won't want to miss it!
When is Re:Generation 2010? Re:Generation will be held the weekend of February 12-14th. This is President's/Valentines Day weekend, so many of you may have the following Monday off of school or work. Will love be in the air? Yes, this is certain. But the only way to find out is to see for yourself.
Where is it going to take place? It will take place at Camp Mihaska in Bourbon, Missouri. That's the Midland Division ya'll.
Who are the special guests? Michael Collins-Associate Pastor from Cariboo Hill Temple in Burnaby B.C.-is our special guest speaker for the weekend. Michael is a gifted speaker who will challenge with his passion, honesty and eagerness to share and live out the gospel. We are truly blessed to have him with us for the weekend; he is unlike any other speaker you may ever hear in The Salvation Army.
transMission is coming all the way from the Southern Territory to lead worship during Re:Generation 2010. transMission is, in my humble opinion, the finest worship band in The Salvation Army. They push the limits of what worship can be and are truly a talented and anointed group of lead worshippers. You already know many of the songs that transMission has pioneered such as "Bless His Name (He Sets Me Free)," "A Mighty Fortress," "I Surrender," and "Soldier's Hymn."
What is the theme? The theme is "Paradox" and we will explore what it means to be poor and yet rich, to be persecuted and yet blessed and to be dead and yet live. In short; this is going to blow your mind!
How old should I be? You must be between the ages of 18-29* or a High School senior to attend.
How much will it cost? Only $40. Only $40? Yes, only $40. That's a real sweet deal, considering it includes: all housing, meals, fun, electricity, water, heat, T-shirt, places to sit or stand and interesting things to look at for the whole weekend.
Can my spouse and/or child come? Heck yes they can come! What a silly question. There will be housing for married couples and families with children. It's ok if your spouse is over 29 years old, just as one of you is between the ages of 18-29. Children between the ages of 0-4 can come at the cost of $20 per child.
How can I register? You can register online here: http://www.usc.salvationarmy.org/usc/regen.nsf/fm_reg?openform
