Mombasa Children's Home
The Mombasa Children's Home is located in the coastal city
of Mombasa, Kenya. There are currently 60 children in the home,
28 boys and 32 girls - all who have been in need of security, medical care,
education, shelter, food and love as they all have been through a traumatic
childhood, most of them are orphans, but only a few are children who have been
sent to us in need of care and attention.
Sponsorship funds at Mombasa
are used for:
- Food
- Education - schoolbooks, school tuition, school uniforms.
- Medical care
- Basic needs - clothing, shoes
The Home has a library with educational and story books, as
well as two computers.
The children are involved in many activities; sports,
scouts, charity walks, first aid training and music festivals.
The children are not only given a bright future through
sponsorship, but their day-today quality of life has dramatically improved. They can finally just be children who laugh
and play and enjoy the simple things in life.
