The Salvation Army Turning Point Programs has been providing professional and comprehensive treatment of substance use disorders for the West Michigan area since 1973.
The Salvation Army is the oldest continuing provider of substance use treatment in the United States. The Salvation Army Turning Point Programs welcomes clients that have substance use disorders and co-occurring mental illnesses. We offer sub-acute medical detoxification, short-term residential treatment and intensive-outpatient treatment. The only requirement to receive treatment is a desire to stop using.
The Salvation Army Turning Point Programs have helped individuals, marriages and families be reborn, spiritual lives be rekindled, and employment performance and personal goals be achieved. Approximately 2,000 persons are treated annually.
