The Tri-City Corps Social Service Department provides rental, utilities, food, prescription and other assistance to residents in need within St. Charles, Geneva, Campton Hills,and Batavia. Please remember each case is different. If you need assistance with food for one time, you are encouraged to come in.  Just bring in a photo ID (DL, state ID, or Matricula). 

We never turn anyone away for food assistance.

Partner with The Salvation Army to fight hunger by participating in the Feinstein $1 Million Challenge.  Just mention the Feinstein Challenge when making a donation to The Salvation Army during the months of March and April, and Alan Shawn Feinstein will add money to that donation.  This applies to monetary donations as well as in-kind donations of food items.  Visit www.feinsteinfoundation.org to learn more about this opportunity.

DID YOU KNOW...?????

  * that WIC (Women, Infant, Children) meets here?  WIC is here every Tuesday from 12PM - 7PM and every Friday from 8AM - 4PM.  If you would like to sign up for WIC and you have a child that is 5 years old or younger, you are encouraged to call 847-741-7370

 * that a represenative from Northern Illinois Food Bank comes to The Salvation Army to register people for Food Stamps?  If you have never participated in the food stamp program and would like to sign up, please contact Connie at 630-377-2769 or by email at connie_barrera@usc.salvationarmy.org to make an appointment.

* that the guidelines for food stamps have changed?  If you are currently not working, but you do have a IRA, Roth IRA, or 401 K, DHS no longer looks at those assests for assistance if you are under 60 years old.

* that you are more than welcome to come to The Salvation Army Tri City Corps twice a week for bread and other baked goods?  Check out our link on weekly bread distribution
