THE YPSILANTI CORPS
Doing The Most Good ....Like the Ann Arbor Corps, The Ypsilanti Corps' vision for social work is to help change lives for the better; physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually. We strive to help individuals become self-sufficient and independent within each person's respective means or abilities, take responsibility for their own problems and to take part in the solution to reach their full potential.
The need in Washtenaw County is real and growing. According to TSA's 2007 Michigan Poverty Report, TSA has seen a 293 percent increase in the last year in the number of requests for services coming into their suburban corps. The demand for services has increased, even from individuals who have previously donated to TSA.
Wish list: Concrete for an outdoor basketball court, basketball rim/stand, gardening tools and supplies, compost material and seeds.

- Eviction prevention

The Salvation Army (TSA) is a Christian, charitable organization dedicated to serving people in need without discrimination. Operating in Washtenaw County for more than 100 years, the non-profit addresses the physical and spiritual needs of the area through various programs and service centers located in Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti.
