The Salvation Army of Washtenaw County is a Christian, faith-based charitable organization dedicated to serving people in need without discrimination. The need in Washtenaw County is real and growing. According to TSA's 2007 Michigan Poverty Report, TSA has seen a 293 percent increase in the last year in the number of requests for services coming into their suburban corps. The demand for services has increased, even from individuals who have previously donated to TSA.
