The Salvation Army is a Christian Church and a basic needs provider.  The Corps Officers are Pastors.  The Salvation Army, "Doing the Most Good," seeks to serve suffering humanity with love.

The Salvation Army assists more than 42 million individuals throughout the year in the United States nearly six million of those during the holiday season alone.

Because of the feeding program, at The Salvation Army in Wausau, approximately 47,000 meals are served each year.

Every summer, community youth get a taste of the great outdoors at The Salvation Army camp near Milwaukee.

Over 1,500 children, in Marathon County, have a merrier Christmas because of programs like The Angel Tree, which distributes toys to families who normally can't afford them.

Approximately 35,500 hours of volunteer service are given every year through The Salvation Army programs in Marathon County.

Everyday lives are changed because of the generosity of Marathon County.
